Join Winnie, a Eurasian golden oriole, on her maiden migration journey from a nest in the Vikos Gorge, to across the Mediterranean Sea, around the Sahara Desert, over the river Nile, beyond the Serengeti grasslands, through the Congo rainforests and all the way back. Each flight brings Winnie to new places, new friends and new experiences. And while this journey is filled with adventure and fun, Winnie also learns that there’s a place for everyone.

Manasvi Dadbhawala is a 12-year-old student living in Bengaluru, India. She enjoys bird watching, art, reading, origami and writing. Her poems “Nature’s Secrets” and “From the Birds that Fly” have been published in “100 Thousand Poets for Change”. Her short story, “In the eyes of the Pigeon” was published in “Join the Dots: Stories of an Interconnected World,” an initiative by the Jane Goodall Foundation in association with Peek-A-Book. She was a jury member of Peek-A-Book’s “Children’s Literature Festival 2018” for its first “Children’s Choice Award”.
